Policy Cancellations

We’re sorry to hear that you are thinking of cancelling your Nova Insurance policy. The information on this page is aimed to make the process, and your request, as simple as possible.

PLEASE NOTE : We cannot accept cancellation requests by phone.


What happens and when?

On the following page you will be asked to complete a form that captures all the details we need to cancel your policy. Upon sending the request we will immediately confirm receipt of your request. Our Customer Services Team will then process the request and aim to confirm your cancellation within 48 workings hours.


Important Information

By submitting a cancellation request you are agreeing to the cancellation charges, charges that you agreed to when purchasing the policy. For more information please see the Nova Insurance Terms Of Business

‣ These charges are £75.00 for cancellation plus any commission due and charges for the time the insurance was on cover, which are calculated upon policy cancellation.
‣ Upon policy cancellation you will need to leave any pending direct debits running until we receive confirmation of the exact charge(s) applicable.
‣ If you have made any claims or notified of any incident(s) during the time on cover there will be no refund due.
‣ Cancellations will be processed in line with the policy terms and with cancellation charges applicable as agreed at inception of the policy.
‣ If you are paying by premium finance you will need to continue your direct debit payments as agreed whilst the cancellation return premium is being calculated.
